Sorbchem India's Carbon Molecular Sieve is an essential component in Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) systems used for nitrogen production. Our CMS offers high nitrogen yield, making it suitable for a wide range of PSA nitrogen systems. The solid surface of the CMS selectively adsorbs oxygen molecules from compressed air, allowing for the output of enriched nitrogen gas from the top of the bed.
Nitrogen Purification Process
The CMS quickly adsorbs oxygen gas from compressed air, making pure nitrogen gas available at the outlet. Once the entire bed reaches an equilibrium state, it requires regeneration. During this process, oxygen molecules are released from the bed, preparing it for another cycle of impurity adsorption and pure nitrogen release. The CMS here shows a particular attraction towards the Oxygen molecules. Therefore, Oxygen molecules are absorbed by the Carbon Molecular Sieve, while Nitrogen is unable to be absorbed.
Sorbchem India's Carbon Molecular Sieve is designed to meet the requirements of almost all types of PSA nitrogen systems, ensuring reliable and consistent performance in nitrogen production applications. The CMS's porous structure and selective adsorption capabilities make it an essential component in the nitrogen generation process.
